The brief
The event combined a charity fun run supporting Air Ambulance Northern Ireland with a day focused on safety and community participation at Castle Archdale Holiday Park.
What I did
I coordinated planning and event communications, distributed the plan of action and worked through the practical arrangements with participating organisations. My preparation included fun-run bookings, promotional materials, staffing arrangements and medical-cover coordination.
How the plan became practical
I brought the arrangements into a shared plan of action so that organisations and staff had a clear reference for the event. Liaison covered equipment and demonstrations, arrival arrangements and the support needed on site. In the final preparations, I worked through the rota, starting-line arrangements and bookings.
Promotion and participation
Promotion and ticketing were part of the same process. I worked with the park’s Ti.to listings and event communications to help people find the information they needed to take part. The official announcement below brings together the fun run and the wider safety-day programme.
